The Log Cabin stands at the distant end of the Deerwoode property. It is clean, cozy and comfortable with A/C, DirectTV, one bedroom, full kitchen/living room, full bath, and beautiful pine hardwood floors. It has fantastic views of Becky Mountain and the big Deerwoode Lake. The French Broad River meanders below, Dunn's Rock looms above, it is truly a beautiful spot. The Log cabin also has a large front porch. Relax, kick back on the porch under giant two hundred year old Tulip Poplar trees and listen to a mountain rain on the tin roof. Enjoy the wildlife. Red Tail Hawks, Ospreys, Great Horned Owls, and even Bald Eagles have all been seen roaming over our fields and lakes at Deerwoode. It is exciting early mornings and late night evenings when the white tail deer mosey down into the valley.
